We deliver large-scale projects in partnership with local communities to restore nature and help tackle climate change.
We manage projects from start to end, maintaining direct control at every stage working alongside local people.
Our commitment to integrity, safety, innovation, and service is at the heart of all our work.
"The name "Verity Nature" embodies our core values and reflects our dedication to providing genuine, nature-inspired solutions that make a positive impact on our planet."
Duncan van der merwe, co-founder and CEO
Our large-scale projects create, protect and improve natural landscapes to reduce carbon emissions and sequester (lock away) carbon – to help tackle climate change.
Our work spans blue, teal and green carbon projects, and because we work at such a large scale across landscapes, often two or three at once.
Blue carbon projects sequester carbon in the ocean, for example through mangrove plantations, saltmarshes, seagrasses and seaweed.
Teal carbon projects store carbon in inland freshwater wetlands like marshes and swamps.
Green carbon projects sequester carbon in land ecosystems like forests.
We test and develop innovative technologies from around the world to improve the quality and efficiency of blue, teal and green carbon restoration; credit generation and measurement; reporting and verification.
Our technology toolkit is a game-changer, including our software platform Verity Carbon™ which collects data and tracks results with progress digitised and transparently shared at each stage.
Our research and training programmes are part of the DNA of our work, delivered through a growing network of Verity Institutes around the world, located close to our project sites. Our flagship Verity Institute is in Australia - one of the largest facilities of its kind in the country.
Each Institute is tailored to the needs of the local area to maximise the benefits for the environment and communities, providing a physical base for research to take place alongside a wealth of training opportunities.
We work with communities and manage projects from start to end to make sure the job gets done.
You know exactly where our carbon and co-benefit credits come from and can count on their credibility. We maintain direct control at every stage - no middlemen, no lengthy supply chain, no lost accountability.
All our nature restoration projects are designed and run by us, working alongside local communities. We track the impact and use blockchain technology to create permanent and open-source records – all digital and all in one place.
Proudly profit-for-purpose, our HQ is in Australia with bases around the world.
